First let me say thank you to Erica for nominating me for the Brillante award! I have technically been online for several years now, but really have recently begun blogging again on a regular basis! I usually don’t get many visitors, so this is a true surprise! Thank you for thinking of me 🙂 I am going to break the rules (although not the first, as I’ve seen this on many blogs) and I’m going to extend the nomination to all of those who might be reading who haven’t been nominated yet! And, if you’re one of those folks, please leave me a comment and I’ll gladly start reading and commenting on YOUR blog! We’ll share the love together! Here’s the rules:
1) Put the logo on your blog.
2) Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3) Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4) Add links to those blogs on yours.
5) Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs.
On to the stitching stuff…
Here’s my progress on Jack’s birth sampler, AKA Sailing Home by BBD. I’m really loving this so far! The colors are great, although this picture makes them look a bit washed out. The darker blue is really a very deep navy, and the lighter blue is kind of a medium denim color…very nice together. It’s going well for starting on Sunday!
This is the new Strawberry House by LHN. I am stitching this one on 35 ct. Dark Espresso linen by R&R. Again, the colors are a bit washed out, so I’ll have to really attempt to get some better pics next time. This one is going to be so cute when it’s finished…it will be about 3×5…I love it!
Until next time…happy stitching to all!
