The joys of sleeping

Today Jack is 1 month old! He’s still waking up about 2-3 times at night, but usually he eats fairly quickly and then goes back down to sleep. Last night he wanted to stay awake more, so I came out into the living room to stay up with him. Just when he was going to sleep, Nicholas walks in the room (keep in mind it’s 3 am) and he wants to be held. So, just when I think that I’m going back to sleep, I’m up with the oldest boy. We fell asleep on the couch together for a few hours, and then I was up again at 5 to feed Jack. So, the moral of this story is…Jack has yet to discover the wonderful joys of sleeping for long stretches at a time (well, longer than 2.5 hours at a time!).

I started stitching on Jingle yesterday, and I’ve finished the stitching for the top of the tin, and I’ve completed about 1/2 of the beads. I hope to finish the beading today and get it completely “finished” before moving on to the biscornu companion for this one.
