The Space Positive Wrap by Shanalines Designs is a gorgeous wrap/shawl/scarf that is SO VERSATILE! I love that Shana chose to use slub yarn for some extra texture. Below is the description of the project from the designer:
This design uses fingering weight yarn with subtle textural differences and a complementary accent color to create 3-dimensional lines. The long piece can be draped in a variety of ways, resulting in new patterns formed. The two halves each have their own rhythm and proportion. The simple pattern of lines and spaces suits a variety of personal styles.
An idea of “positive space” is something we strive to achieve. By reversing the words to “space positive,” we are encouraged to evaluate our existing spaces and find our own positive energy within.
This kit contains 3 skeins of yarn; 2 skeins of sock and 1 skein of slub. The pattern is not included, but can be found on Ravelry or PayHip.
Suburban Stitcher Sock:
75% superwash merino/25% nylon
460 yds/100 grams
Suburban Stitcher Slub:
90% Superwash Merino/10% nylon
438 yds/100 grams
Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project.
This yarn does contain superwash merino, however, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. Please use cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. I use colorfast acid dyes for dying my yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. However even with all of this, there is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This is particularly true for highly saturated colors and speckled skeins. Because of this, I do recommend that you wash your items separately, especially for the first couple of washes.
The pictures in this listing are true to color for my eyes on my computer. Please know that there might be slight variations in color from screen to screen. I do not use stock photos, as each dye lot might vary widely.
