Shimmering Shawl Kit

It is always a pleasure to collaborate with designers, and this shawl from Lesley Anne Robinson of Knit Graffiti Designs is truly no exception!   This 3 skein shawl/wrap is a beautiful experiment in brioche textures.  Perfect for beginners to brioche textures, and equally engaging for more experienced knitters.

This kit contains yarn only, the pattern is available in the new book Brioche Knitting for Beginners and Beyond by Lesley Anne Robinson.  You will receive 3 skeins total, one skein of each color used in the pattern.

The yarn used in the pattern is my silky singles base, a 70/30 mix of Superwash Merino and silk.  It is truly luxurious and dreamy to work with!  The colors used in the kit are Nudie Patootie, Predictability, & Rivers Edge.

I also have a kit option using my 100% merino single ply yarn.  Same colors, no silk in the yarn.

Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project.

Care:
This yarn does contain superwash merino, however, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. Please use cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. I use colorfast acid dyes for dying my yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. However even with all of this, there is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This is particularly true for highly saturated colors and speckled skeins. Because of this, I do recommend that you wash your items separately, especially for the first couple of washes.
