Sanguine
$25.00
$3 from each skein purchased October 1 - 7 will go to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
This is a preorder listing for Sanguine, the October 2024 tonal yarn of the month. Please allow up to 7-10 days for dyeing.
Sanguine is a dark & moody burgundy. I would say that it is more of a purple burgundy than a red burgundy/maroon. As all super saturated colors can sometimes bleed (pun very much intended!)...this color may require extra care when washing the first time. I would recommend a color catcher in the water, and I probably wouldn't knit it with a super pale color in the same project.
For the entire month of October 2024, it will be at a discounted price of $25 per skein. After this month, it will return to the regular full retail price.

Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project.
Care:
This yarn does contain superwash merino, however, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. Please use cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. I use colorfast acid dyes for dying my yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. However even with all of this, there is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This is particularly true for highly saturated colors and speckled skeins. Because of this, I do recommend that you wash your items separately, especially for the first couple of washes.
