87% Fine Superwash Merino Wool
13% Pima Cotton

I am so excited to bring a wool/cotton blend yarn to the shop!  Summer Sock is a velvety soft 2 ply of Merino and Pima cotton.  It is truly so so so soft!!!!  I find that it has a lovely drape when knit up, so make sure to do a gauge swatch!

Hand dyed yarn can very from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. Please take care to purchase enough yarn to complete your project.

Care:
This yarn does contain superwash merino, however, I do always recommend that you hand wash your knitwear. Please use cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. I use colorfast acid dyes for dying my yarn, and rinse until water runs clear. However even with all of this, there is a chance that some dye may bleed slightly in the first wash of your finished item. This is particularly true for highly saturated colors and speckled skeins. Because of this, I do recommend that you wash your items separately, especially for the first couple of washes.
